Welcome to QuizNeko. By using this service you agree to the following terms. The service is provided as-is for educational and recreational purposes.
1. Account & Access
A QuizNeko account is created with a free Metagrid ID at auth.metagrid1.com, the unified account for our services, and you sign in to QuizNeko with that same ID (including its Google option). QuizNeko no longer issues its own passwords for new accounts. Accounts registered before this change with a QuizNeko email/password or social sign-in remain valid; write to contact@metagrid1.com to have one linked to a Metagrid ID. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. QuizNeko reserves the right to refuse or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
2. Content & Conduct
You agree not to upload illegal, harassing, or copyrighted content. You may not attempt to bypass security mechanisms (image rendering, anti-scraping) or scrape quiz content programmatically.
3. Reward accrual
- XP may be awarded for the achievement grade of an attempt, for authoring quizzes, and for other actions designated by QuizNeko.
- The amount awarded per action is determined by the reward formulas, which QuizNeko may adjust at its discretion.
- Points are not earned through activity; they are a separate currency obtained only by purchase.
- XP and points are recorded as ledger entries with up to six decimal places and are non-transferable.
4. Prohibition of Fraud & Abuse
- Creating multiple accounts to inflate rewards or claim referral bonuses is prohibited.
- If the same device, IP, or identity verification is reused across accounts, rewards may be canceled.
- Use of bots, automation, scripts, or coordinated answer sharing to obtain XP is prohibited.
- Confirmed abuse results in revocation of earned XP, and suspension or deletion of the account.
- QuizNeko may pursue legal remedies in cases of intentional fraud.
5. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice. Any remaining points and XP in suspended accounts are forfeited.
6. Payments & Purchases
QuizNeko offers optional paid point top-ups. Purchases made on the website are sold and processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, whose buyer terms also apply to your purchase. In-app purchases made in the Android app are processed through Google Play billing, and the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to them. In-app purchases made in the iOS app are processed through Apple In-App Purchase, and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to them.
- Account required: points are credited to a QuizNeko account and can only be spent while signed in, so you need a Metagrid ID before you buy. Points cannot be redeemed without an account.
- What you buy: prepaid points, credited to your account immediately after payment and spendable only on digital features and passes within QuizNeko. Points are not cash and cannot be withdrawn (see Reward Policy).
- Pricing & taxes: on the website, prices are shown in USD before checkout, and applicable taxes are calculated and charged by Paddle at checkout. In the Android app, prices are shown in the local currency set by Google Play, and applicable taxes are handled by Google Play at the time of purchase. In the iOS app, prices are shown in the local currency set by the App Store, and applicable taxes are handled by Apple at the time of purchase.
- Refunds: purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
- Authorization: by completing checkout on the website you authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method. Payments made in the Android app are processed by Google Play, and payments made in the iOS app are processed by Apple.
- Chargebacks: fraudulent chargebacks may result in point clawback and restriction of future purchases.
7. Seller Information
